I lift mine eyes to the hills

This photo might sum up most of Helen's summer. She spent three weeks touring all over Vermont with Village Harmony.  They spent two of those weeks on the road singing in a different church every night and staying with host families.

Along the way they stopped at lovely swimming holes and explored all that is wonderful in Vermont during the summer.

We ended up hosting large numbers of teens three times.  One group was from Italy and they all stayed with us on the last night before heading to the airport. This was the scene at about 2:00 a.m. when I woke to hear them singing "I will lift mine eyes to the hills."  It was just beautiful.

Their conductors collect songs around the world to preserve and share with audiences.
