Earth Day Recycling

I finally managed to remember to get our stack of old computers together for the local computer store's annual Earth Day recycling program.  We've been slowly accumulating these since around 2001.

Liz saw them stacked on the island and wondered what was inside them.  She got a screw driver....

And spent the entire day dissecting computers.

She created a very elaborate exhibit (laid out on tin foil).
Now she knows how a computer goes together and I have just a tiny bit to save for hazardous waste day.

I couldn't believe how much she took apart.
She has little bowls of computer keys, magnets, springs, and other bits for upcoming collage projects.
