they walked about a mile. I walked on the edge of the road, close to Lou. She had 2 little trips at cracks in the pavement, but caught herself. It was good to have a ground person along as kids dropped various things. Nobody fell!
Meeting you would be fun, when I pick up Amelia from camp we are taking a couple days to tool around, I wanted to drive to the coast in Maine, the only time she has seen the Atlantic ocean was when we were in France. So we are thinking about a place to pitch a tent by the beach. Can't wait to see the photos, Amelia is so excited about camp. We will talk about meeting when her camp gets closer (first two weeks of August).
This is so neat. What great skills of balance this must require! It looks quite daring. I would be scared to crash to the pavement from such a height. Your daughters are amazing!
Welcome! We are a Waldorf family living in Vermont. We have two daughters--Helen is 18, Elizabeth is 15. This blog celebrates the seasons of the year and chronicles the dailyness of our lives.
Super Cool! I bet they had a great time. How far did they have to walk?
I'm impressed! That looks a little scary to me. Amazing.
Yes, so cool and so scary. This ought to be an attention-getter on future college applications!
