Greek Olympiad

We spent last Thursday and Friday at H's 5th grade Greek Olympiad. The children from all 7 schools were divided into 4 city-states. They competed throughout the two days in long jump, running, javelin, wrestling, and discus. This was the culmination to many weeks of activities including reading "The Children's Homer," sculpting, painting, singing, and exploring Greek mythology.
