Poem for an October Evening

First socks knit for warm toes.

A yarn-sewn rug with a lovely rose.

Yarn tangled by a curious cat....

slowing the progress on this hat.

All accompanied by Bilbo Baggins

A lovely way to spend October evenings.

I just love your blog. ;)

We recently read The Hobbit and then The Fellowship of the Ring. We have the next one on hold at the library for us. Such a great series for the autumn months!

Books and handwork on cool, autumn evenings. . . doesn't get better than that!

"Zelda the kitten" is getting big! Still a looker. "Hannah" Zelda's brother is also into yarn bigtime right now. Hard to knit - have to send him outside sometimes! Hope you all are well.
